Best 4WD Tractors in India
4WD costs more to buy and more to run. It earns that back in wet fields, on slopes, and when you are pulling hard in loose soil — and not much anywhere else.

When 4WD pays for itself
Puddling paddy every season, working on slopes, or heavy draft work in sandy or loose soil. In those conditions a 2WD tractor of the same power simply cannot put the engine's output onto the ground.
When it does not
Dry-land tillage on level fields and mostly haulage work. There, the extra purchase price, higher fuel burn and the additional front-axle maintenance are cost with little return.
What to check
Front-axle service intervals and the availability of front-axle parts locally. This is the component most likely to be expensive and slow to source.
