For an extended period, there was a debate regarding this matter. According to the opposition, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is required to disburse this sum by June. The Raithu Bandhu amount will be paid to each farmer at a rate of Rs 5,000 per acre for the current Kharif season, according to official sources quoted by the media.

Around 92.5 percent of the beneficiaries under Raithu Bandhu are tiny and marginal farmers who possess less than 10 acres of land, as per the Agriculture Department.
