Mahindra Tractor Sales Up 5% In Aug 2026; Domestic Sales At 27,595 Units
The number of tractors sold by Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Business in August 2026 has been released. The company sold 29,507 tractors, which is 5% more than the 28,117 tractors it sold in August 2025. In that month, 27,595 units were sold in the United States and 1,912 units were sent abroad.

The number of Mahindra tractors sold in India rose by 5% year over year in August 2026, from 26,201 units in August 2025 to 27,595 units. Exports stayed about the same at 1,912 units, down from 1,916 units in the same month last year.

Mahindra Tractor Sales Data - FY27 Vs FY26 (Till August)
Mahindra also announced good cumulative tractor sales for FY27 till August 2026. Domestic tractor sales were 2,12,664 units vs 1,82,390 units during the same time last year, marking a 17% growth.
Exports climbed 9% to 9,304 units versus 8,524 units in FY26. Consequently, the company’s cumulative sales of tractors were at 2,21,968 units against 1,90,914 units sold in the corresponding period last year registering a growth of 16%.

Company statement
Commenting on the company’s sales performance in August 2026, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We sold 27,595 tractors in the domestic market during August 2026, a growth of 5% over last year. Rainfall improvement has helped Kharif sowing to be near normal. Continued backing of several government projects and the forthcoming festive season should help mood in the rural sector. In Exports market we have sold 1,912 tractors.
