The business sold 66,111 units in all, and exports were up 10% as well.
The Farm Equipment Business of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, has revealed their tractor sales numbers for September 2025. This month, the company did well, selling 64,946 tractors in the US market. Including exports, overall tractor sales totaled 66,111 units, up 49% from 44,256 tractors in September 2024. Export sales were 1,165 units, up 10% from the previous year.

Sales go up when GST goes down
Vijay Nakra, President of the Agri Equipment Business, said, "We sold 64,946 tractors in the domestic market in September, which is 50% more than last year." The Prime Minister's choice to lower GST rates has resulted to more sales in the first nine days of Navratri this year than in October of previous year. Things like a good Kharif forecast, more land being sown this season, and a better-than-usual rainfall have all helped this even more.
