Mahindra Tractor Sales at 47,845 Units in May 2026, up 23%
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Farm Equipment Sector, a division of the Mahindra Group, released their tractor sales result for May 2026. The company sold 49,695 tractors in May 2026 as against 40,643 units in May last year, a jump of 22%.
Mahindra sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market in May 2026 against 38,914 units in the same month last year. This represents a 23% increase in domestic sales. During the month, exports were 1,850 tractors compared with 1,729 tractors previous year, an increase of 7%.

Mahindra registered great growth in May 2026 in both local and international markets. Sales of domestic tractors increased by 23%, export sales by 7%. Overall, tractor sales were up 22 percent in May against May 2025.

Mahindra Tractor Sales Data - FY27 Vs FY26 (Till May)
Looking at cumulative sales till May, Mahindra sold 98,106 tractors in FY27 against 80,697 units during the same period previous year. It sold 94,249 units in the domestic market and exported more than 3,857 units over the period.

Company Statement
Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. remarked, “We sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market during May 2026 registering a growth of 23% over last year. This substantial growth was due to the early completion of Rabi harvests and favourable conditions of trade for the farmers. We have exported 1,850 tractors, an increase of 7% over last year.
