Horticulture Crops: Farmers can now grow more figs because the government is going to subsidize the cost of each one by 40%.

Subsidy on Anjeer farming: Farmers are being told to grow other key fruit and vegetable crops, like figs, plums, dates, and pomegranates, in places with harsh weather. Because these kinds of crops grow well in a wide range of climates and are widely grown because they are so useful. In many states today, farmers still grow figs the way they always have, and they make a good living from them. Financial help is also given by the Central and State Governments through their programs to make sure that farmers don't have any problems growing it.

It looks like farmers in Bihar will also be able to make more money by growing figs in this show. Because the government of Bihar is running a program called the "Fig Fruit Development Scheme" to help more people grow figs. The goal of this program is to help farmers make more money and improve their crop yield by encouraging the growing of figs in the state. As part of this plan, the state government is giving farmers a huge rebate of 40% off the cost of planting fig saplings per unit. To get the benefits of this state program, farmers who are interested will have to fill out an online application. Tell us how and where farmers can get help with Fig Fruit Development.

Do you know how much money the government will give you? (Do you know how much money the government will give you?)

A tweet from the State Agriculture Department says that the Bihar government wants to double farmers' incomes by encouraging them to grow figs in the state. To help them do this, the government is giving farmers a 40% grant through the Fig Development Scheme (State Scheme). One hectare of fig trees costs about Rs 1.25 lakh to grow under the plan. Farmers will get a subsidy of 40%, or Rs 50 thousand per hectare, to cover these costs.

The grant benefit will be sent to you in three parts.

Farmers will be able to get a grant for at least 0.25 acres (0.1 hectare) and up to 10 acres (4 hectares) under this plan. At first, the plan benefit can be used to grow figs on a one-hectare plot of land. As part of this plan, the Horticulture Department will give this grant to each person in three equal payments. The person who benefits from this plan will get a grant of Rs.30,000 for growing figs on one hectare in the first year, Rs.10,000 for growing figs on two hectares in the second year, and Rs.10,000 for growing figs on three hectares in the third year. A hectare of land can support 625 fig plants, with 4 meters of space between each plant, according to the Horticulture Directorate of the Agriculture Department of the Government of Bihar.

In what ways will the plan help the farmers?

The State Fig Fruit Development Scheme will only help Raiyat farmers in the state who can show proof that they own the land and bring in money from it. If the applicant's name isn't clear on the land ownership or revenue receipt, the history must be sent along with the land ownership or revenue receipt. Before applying, farmers who are interested should check the information about the bank account that is listed with DBT. The rules of the plan say that CFMS will pay for the subsidy to grow figs through the DBT service. 78.56 percent of the scheme's beneficiaries will be from the general category, 20 percent will be from the Scheduled Caste category, and 1.44 percent will be from the Scheduled Tribe category. In each group, 30 percent of the beneficiaries will be women.
