Mahindra Tractor Sales Report August 2025: Sold 26201 Tractor, Sales Growth by 28%
The Mahindra Group's Farm Equipment Business achieved excellent sales growth in August 2025 due to good monsoon weather and rural demand.

Mahindra tractor sold 26201 tractors in the domestic market, up from 20,518 units in August 2024. This is a 28% growth from the same month last year. There were 28,117 tractor sales, including exports, which is more than the 21,917 sales during the same time previous year. Exports also went grown a lot, hitting 1,916 units, which is 37% more than in August 2024.
The total sales from August 2025 also grew strongly, by 12%, with Mahindra selling 1,90,914 cars compared to 1,70,593 units during the same time last year.
Veejay Nakra, President of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Business, stated this about the performance:
August 2025 saw 26,201 domestic tractor sales, 28% more than last year. Above-normal rainfall and reservoir levels benefit Kharif crops in the October Rabi season. The IMD's prediction of extra rain in September could be bad for Kharif harvests, but it needs to be handled carefully. All of these things, together with the government's sustained support for farmers through financing programs, could lead to more demand for tractors during the next holiday season. We sold 1,916 tractors in the export market, which is 37% more than previous year.
