Sales Report for Kubota Tractors in December 2024: 5016 Tractors Sold
Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has released the number of tractors it sold in December 2024. In December 2023, the company sold 6,136 tractors, so this month they only sold 5,472 tractors, which is a 10.8% drop.
In December 2024, 5,016 tractors were sold in the United States, down 12.5% from December 2023, when 5,731 units were sold. Even so, the company thinks that demand will rise in the next few months thanks to better reservoir water levels, buying more crops in Kharif, and good rabi planting. But sales of tractors sent abroad went up by 12.6%, from 405 units in December 2023 to 456 units in December 2024.

Quarterly (Q3) Sales Results (October to December 2024)
Escorts Kubota said that its domestic sales increased by 6% in Q3 FY24, from 29,784 units in Q3 FY23 to 31,585 units. But foreign sales dropped by 29.2%, from 1,371 units sold in the same time last year to just 971 units sold this year. The company sold 32,556 tractors in Q3 FY24, which is 4.5% more than the 31,155 units it sold in Q3 FY23.

Escorts Kubota sold a total of 88,921 tractors in the nine months from April to December 2024. This is a slight drop of 0.8% from the 89,649 units they sold during the same time period in 2023. Domestic sales went up by a small 0.5%, from 85,371 units in FY23 to 85,762 units in FY24. There was a sharp drop of 26.2% in foreign sales, though, from 4,278 units in FY23 to 3,159 units in FY24.
